Yeah, so I think Bloc Party win the slowmotionforall.com "most mentioned band" award. But with the Brits just passing and the 'revival in BritRock' throwing up Razorlight and Keane, I think their quality shines though.
The drums are so on point, the best example is "So Here We Are", which for all its pleading to to be put on an emo mixtape has pretty furious drums all the way through. You can't go far wrong if you put that much effort into the beats. Its something that gets omitted from a lot of yer 'indie' music, but a solid rhythm section can get you far.
The album is good, very good in fact, although it does bear a similarity to Pretty Girls Make Graves pretty much all the way through. It'd be interesting to let them swap vocalists for a bit. Maybe they could do that on their tour together.
